Unilever's Treschow to talk with investors before change

(Reuters) - Treschow took over on Wednesday as the Anglo-Dutch company's first chairman to come from outside the company in its 77-year history and said he saw no need to split the group between its food business and its detergents, shampoo and deodorants side.

"We are a fast-moving consumer goods company so we also hope that we are fast moving ourselves. I will listen to what investors have to say carefully," he said after the Unilever Plc annual general meeting held in London.
