Chile Masisa to sell 90 pct of Forestal Argentina

(Reuters) - It said the sale would generate some $29 million in
profit.




Forestal Argentina owns 38.000 hectares of pine and
eucalyptos forests and lands in Argentina.

Canadian Dollar Rises to a 30-Year High as Economic Growth Accelerates

(Bloomberg) -- The Canadian dollar strengthened
to a 30-year high after the central bank said it may raise
borrowing costs in the ``near term'' and economic growth
accelerated at the fastest pace in almost two years.

The currency climbed 1.9 percent this week to 94.28
U.S. cents. It touched 94.35 U.S. cents yesterday, the
highest level since July 19, 1977. One U.S. dollar buys
C$1.0609.

Stocks set fresh highs on strong US economic data

(Reuters) - U.S. stocks surged to fresh highs on Friday after a new round of economic data buoyed investor optimism and lifted the dollar to a seven-week high against the euro.

In Europe, leading British shares hit their highest close since September 2000 and a pan-European stock index closed at its highest level since November 2000 on the strong U.S. jobs and manufacturing data.
