26.70 points, at 2,626.11, boosted by positive broker comments
on technology bellwether Intel Corp. .
The Dow Jones industrial average was up 94.30
points, or 0.70 percent, at 13,648.02. The Standard & Poor's
500 Index was up 10.71 points, or 0.70 percent, at
1,533.68.
